Grok Bot isn't available on your plan
Grok Bot access is bundled into Cursor and SuperGrok plans and the eligible list has changed since launch. How to check what your account has today and the cheapest route to access.
Short answerThere's no standalone Grok Bot plan. At launch it required Cursor Ultra, Cursor Teams Premium or SuperGrok Heavy; the list has since widened, with trackers reporting access on Cursor Pro and standard SuperGrok. Because it keeps changing, confirm inside the account before paying, and note that lower tiers may have no included allowance.
What we know, dated
- Launch (11 Aug 2026): Cursor Ultra ($200/mo), Cursor Teams Premium ($120/seat), SuperGrok Heavy (~$300/mo). Cursor Teams Standard seats could use trial or on-demand with no included allowance.
- Since: the eligible list has expanded twice according to pricing trackers, reaching base Cursor Pro ($20) and base SuperGrok ($30). The official get-started page has listed SuperGrok Plus/Heavy and Cursor Pro+/Ultra/Teams. These sources don't fully agree.
What to do
- Sign in at the Grok Bot access page with your Cursor account (Grok Bot uses Cursor sign-in, not a separate xAI account). If you're eligible, the download and onboarding appear.
- If not, the cheapest documented routes have been Cursor Pro or SuperGrok, but check whether your route includes a weekly allowance. A $20 seat with no allowance means every token is on-demand.
- Legacy Privacy Mode accounts must move to a supported data setting before Grok Bot will start.
- Enterprise: waitlist only, as of our last check.
